'IWA ARTS & CAFE (2018)
Cofounder, Organizer & Collaborating Artist
A creative sanctuary nestled in a historic blacksmith’s & car repair shop in Honalo, Hawaiʻi—ʻIwa Arts & Café was a living art installation: part gallery, part gathering space, part love letter to community, hosting regular workshops, art exhibits, live working art studios, night cafes and food and local coffee all from scratch.
DIMENSIONS OF LOVE (2009 ~ 2012)
Cofounder, Organizer, Collaborating Artist
A multi-year, community art exhibition exploring cross-cultural expressions of love through art and writing, including anonymous written contributions collected through public drop boxes, email, and snail mail.
What began as an experimental photography project evolved into an anthropological investigation spanning two countries, countless conversations, and all ages.
